Committees

The Board of Directors can appoint committees to assist and advise the Board of Directors deemed necessary by the Board of Directors at any time.  These are our current committees.  Links to the committees are in the left panel of this screen

 

A Road Captains Committee (Road Captains) is the only committee required by the Bylaws of the Shawnee Bend 3 Homeowners Association, Inc. The purpose of the Road Captains is to facilitate communication between owners of property on each road and the Board of Directors.  This committee has existed since the Association was incorporated in March, 2012.

 

A Landscaping Committee was formed by the Board based upon a recommendation approved at the 2022 Annual Meeting.  The purpose of the Landscaping Committee is to plan and design landscape to enhance the appearance of the Shawnee Bend 3 Subdivision.  Plans, including budget estimates, are submitted to the Board of directors for approval. Once approved, materials for landscaping enhancements will be paid for by the Association.

 

 

A Road Maintenance Committee was also established by the Board based on a recommendation approved at the 2022 Annual Meeting.  The purpose of the Road Maintenance Committee is to develop a plan for mowing of the shoulders of the 13 Roads within the Shawnee Bend 3 subdivision.  The plan will be submitted to the Board of Directors for approval and implementation.  A second purpose of the Road Maintenace Committee is to keep the Board apprised of road maintenance issues that need to be dealt with by Camden County.
