Board

The Board of Directors of the Shawnee Bend 3 Homeowners Association consists of five members  elected at the annual meeting of the Association. They are responsible for the operation of the Homeowners Association.  Beginning in 2023, board members are elected for staggered 2-year terms with 3 members elected in odd-numbered years and 2 members elected in even numbered years.

 

Board members select their own officers for the positions of President, Vice-president, Secretary, Treasurer and Sargent-at-Arms.  Secretary and Treasurer offices may be combined at the discretion of the board.

 

Each year, the existing board members nominate a slate of at least two (even years) or three (odd years) HOA members and request additional nominations from members of the association.  Nominees are placed on a ballot in alphabetical order.  Members can vote for up to two (even years) or three (odd years) nominees on-line or at the Association's annual meeting.  The nominees with the most votes are elected to the board.
