Shawnee Bend 3 is a single-family residential subdivision located on Lake of the Ozarks in Camden County, Missouri.

The Shawnee Bend 3 Homeowners Association, Inc. was incorporated in 2012 to manage the restrictions of Shawnee Bend 3 and work within its bylaws to maintain and enhance the beauty of Shawnee Bend 3 for the benefit of all of its members. All owners of properties within Shawnee Bend 3 are members of the Association.

Cemetery acquisition is now completed

As of December 10, 2025 the legal work for the acquisition of the Shawnee Bend Cemetery by our homeowners association has been completed. Copies of the legal documents can be viewed in the About tab on our website. Thanks to Dan Dugan for his efforts and tenacity in moving this to conclusion.

As a part of the acquisition we also acquired legal ownership of the six "directional areas" that were established for our signage in the original Shawnee Bend 3 plat.

Leaf disposal

Dumping Leaves in the lake or burning them on the shoreline degrades the water quality of Lake of the Ozarks and contributes to the muck that manages to find its way to the back of our coves. Not good.

Mulching leaves or using one of the many companies in our area for leaf disposal are two environmentally-friendly alternatives.
